To represent the mood and the atmosphere- weather shots are vital. Pathetic fallacy is the key to setting the mood. Having two shots one of morning fog; lurking in the trees and a sunset glistening through the woods, will juxtapose and will then enable us to exaggerate the contrast of the two shots and go from one extreme to another.

The foggy cold looking shot will create a supernatural and frightening atmosphere as it gives the sense that something is wrong and maybe something is in the fog hiding...

The other shot of the sunset glistening through the trees is a shot that represents the peak of the day, when everything is at its best and it seems hard to believe that something can go wrong.
